StyleS – Further Reading
There are many articles by brilliant authors. Here are the ones that I appreciate the most:
- Make Word’s Quick Style gallery work for you by Susan Harkins at TechRepublic
Whilst a bit dated (2012) it’s still a darned good and quite valid (that makes it a ‘Golden Oldie’, right?) This one shows you how to tidy up your Taskbar Style Gallery and to put your fav styles up-front and keep them there. So cool…. - Here’s a short take on how to prioritise styles in the Style pane, even older (2011) but still good!
- Here’s a very nice article: ‘Use a keyboard shortcut to quickly apply any Word style‘ by Megan Casey at Office Watch – “Your independent source of Microsoft Office news, tips and advice since 1996”, who tell you the things that Microsoft doesn’t
- Shauna Kelly has a bunch of pages on Word Styles. You could start at Understanding Styles.
- For the brave, there’s ‘Understanding Styles in Microsoft Word‘, a treatise on styles and style management.
